Cevenol Valleys

In the Cevenol valleys, crossed by springs and streams, man has known how to conquer the landscape. A thousand year struggle, continuously renewed, these landscapes of terraces create a balance where even the villages and the tall houses are in harmony with nature.

The Causses

The Causses, the vast silent solitude, where life is out of time. In this arid, stony setting, with its sumptuous expanses of land, everything appears to have been established since the origins of the world.

Aigoual

On Mount Aigoual, in this "Cevennes of the Cevennes", two worlds meet, come together and separate in a dramatic landscape of wind and clouds. The Meteo France observatory waits, like a stronghold, for the return of the fine weather; it commands an extraordinary show; here, it is possible to climb up in the spring and climb back down in the autumn and gather the clouds in one's hands.
